HIGH MUSUEM PAPER

A work of art that identifies a historic moment in time was the terracotta army collection of the Qin dynasty. My favorite of those was the Kneeling archer and the horses but i cant remember the name of the horse one. It was very interesting to see the sculptures and how great of shape they were in.

A work of art that taught me something i did not know was the landscape with rocks by edgar degas. I didnt realize that such detailed paintings were created so long ago. It was colorful and pretty detailed.

A work of art I liked but would not want to take home was serveral by this one artist. I cant remember his name but he had these 11 peices of glass stacked together it was so cool. he also had this other box thing that i have a pic of above. He was great but i dont think i could ever take it homw with me.

Work of art that reminded me of someone in my life was the part of the museum with all the antique furniture. My grandmother collected all types of furniture and I saw peices in there that I have seen at my grandmothers before she passed and my jackass parents sold everything. I wish i would have been able to keep somethings.

An art work that felt sad was the all blue painting called Moonlight Millsat PontAven. I forgot o write down the artist but blue demonstrates sadness and it just felt very sad. My boyfriend sad it reminded him of when its raining any everyones seems sad. It just game me a gloomy feeling.

There wasnt really any peice of art work that shocked me. Through this class i have learned that art work to one may not be to another and i have learned to appreciate all works of art. So going through the museum i just tried to interpret what the artist message was. I never really got shocked by anything.

The folk and contemporary art exhibits were a lot different than the rest of the museum. The comtemporary was very open and bright with white walls and everything spread out. The folk was also bright. Not as Spread out as comtemp though. The paintings and art works were also bright in general. I loved the tin art with the writing on it in the folk art. It was very interestijg to read his things.
The most meaningful thing for me was being able to spead time with my speacial someone.
